St. Linus Parish celebrates the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with three regularly scheduled weekend Masses; Saturday at 4:00 PM and Sunday at 9:00 AM, and 11:00 AM. Many of the young families of the Parish attend the 9:00 AM Family Mass and their children enjoy the "Liturgy of the Word" held in the lower chapel and this celebration has proved to be a particular joy for all parishioners.
Holy Day Masses are usually scheduled at 5:30 PM on the eve of the Holy Day and at 9:00 AM on the Holy Day itself. Daily Mass is celebrated at 9:00 AM.
Before each daily Mass the Rosary to the Blessed Mother is recited. Every Monday morning after the daily Mass, a Perpetual Novena in honor of our Lady of the Miraculous Medal is held, a tradition dating back to the mid 1970's.
We have 23 Eucharistic Ministers and 22 Lectors and over 40 Altar Servers presently serving at least once a month at our Liturgies. A beautiful adult choir raises it's voices to the appropriate seasonal hymns at the 11:00 AM Sunday Mass. Our "Kid's Choir" sings at the 9 AM Family Mass on Sunday. A Cantor leads us in song at the 4:00 PM Vigil Mass.
We have a Parish Pastoral Council and a Parish Finance Council which meet on a regular basis.
We are involved in an InterParish Collaborative with our neighboring parishes.
You will see elsewhere on this site, that we have many other ministries here at Saint Linus which we are most proud of.
Special liturgies each year include: a Christmas Pageant, an All Saints Day Liturgy, a special Thanksgiving Day Mass, the Children;s Liturgy of the Word mentioned above, and the Rite of Calling to Confirmation.
